1- The Dance
Dancing, dancing... Had fun....for about 2 seconds. Then it got to the point that I just kind of wanted to sit. Which, as many of you witnessed, I did :) I entertained myself for most of the event by staring at walls and various open spaces. Very enlightening. So all in all, I guess I had fun...and yet, I really didn't. Oh, well. This just reinforces what I already knew about myself: I'm not a party-person.
2- Stuff
So we had to go pick up the Sisterpants from the homecoming game. I won't go into detail, but my father got rather mad about a whole cell phone matter and is demanding to see her phone. Quickly, Sisterpants, my mother, and I ran to her room and tore it apart searching for it. But, the amusing part of this is the condition of her room. You literally cannot see the floor. People use that remark often, but her room takes it to a whole new level. And it's not only filled with commonplace items, but with some rather odd things and an assortment of expired edible things. What I found most hysterical was when we searched in the crack between her bed and the wall, where we found a lamp, part of a bedframe, a champagne glass, an unopened TV box set, metal silverware, and enough trash to fill a decent-sized landfill. Among other things.
The only bad part to this story is that we still don't know where the phone is. We can only hope that our dad won't eat her head...Oh, my. That was long. I'm sorry.
