Outsmarted

Today after picking up my sister from a play, we ended up having a kind of "battle" :)
Whenever we get out of the car and are about to enter the house, I always let everyone go first. But today, she tried to make me go first. But no, I insisted that she go. And then she insisted I go. And I insisted she go. At this point, just based on principle, neither of us could go in the house first. My father made it successfully inside, but the two of us stayed camped out in the garage for a good period of time. During that time, we splashed each other with the plentiful amounts of rain on the car and pretended to attack each other with our Buffy skills. It was pretty fun- but then she realized her hair was messed up... ;)

Eventually, we decided to go outdoors through the garage door and enter the house through the main door, as if that would solve it....but the battle continued. Neither of us could enter. At this point, Sisterpants, seeming to have a brilliant idea, said, "Hey, Molly, wait here for a second!" And grinned hugely. Naturally, I thought she was going to prank our father because we had just spot his open window. But no. She instead ran inside and locked all the doors. So I was trapped outside. Sure, technically I won the "I can't go inside first" war, but now I was stuck in the rain. Nice one.

I would have been stuck outside until dark, but I decided to write "Maggie loves Jason" on all the windows (Jason is one of her stalkers) and she quickly let me in so I would get rid of it and spare her an awkward conversation with our father :D  But of course, not giving up, she closed the door on me when I was halfway through, and I was squashed there in an awkward position for a good 10 minutes while she forced me to say 1) she was awesome, 2) she hated Jason, and 3) she had outsmarted me and won. Dang it :)

...My, that was long and considerably pointless. I sincerely apologize! If you actually read all that, kudos to you, my friend :)
