Walking Home

Today as I left school at 4:00, I saw my neighbor Mike walking down the sidewalk. We were closing in at a possible collision point, for I was about to turn onto the path he was on, but he got to the point first and ended up walking in front of me. The strange thing about this, though, was that he was walking at a ridiculously high speed and just kept staring forward, his expression unchanging, never even aware that I was there. Walking behind him, I also noticed that one arm was swinging powerfully at his side with apparent purpose, and he kept a phone glued stiffly to his ear the entire walk home. But, he never once uttered a word into it.

...I have arrived at the conclusion that he was mistakenly accepted into the FBI. To keep him occupied, they have now given him the top-secret mission of finding his house.

(He failed. He missed the turn...the one into the whole neighborhood...)
